All prices listed for our group trips are per person sharing, which means you will be paired with another solo traveller of your choice or with a friend. Single occupancy means that you have your own room and there is an additional cost for a private room.

We require all our travellers to purchase travel insurance before the departure date of their booked trip. Travel insurance is necessary to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellation due to illness, trip interruptions, flight delayed, injuries or sickness while on holiday and stolen or lost luggage.

Travellers can choose a travel insurer of their choice, however we can also assist to facilitate it at a cost. Our fees are as below:

1. R650 for short trips in Africa(6 days or less)
2. R950 for international trips outside of the continent ( 6 days up to 12 days)

Please add this as a travel extra when you make your booking if you want us to facilitate it for you with our suppliers.

You have two options for internet access, you can enable roaming on your South African number, or buy a Simcard abroad if you need to stay connected to the internet. The hotels we choose do come with free Wi-Fi connection, however this will not be available while you are out on tours.

No, South African passport holders do not need a visa for stays of up to 30 days.

There is no time difference. Both countries follow SAST (UTC+2).

The currency is the Mozambican Metical (MZN). However, South African Rands, US Dollars, and Euros are widely accepted.

Yes, but notify your bank before traveling to avoid your card being blocked. ATMs are available in major towns.

The official language is Portuguese, but English is spoken in tourist areas. Local languages include Shangaan, Makhuwa, and Sena.
