About Sista Assist
Sista Assist is a charitable foundation started in 2023 committed to enhancing the educational experience for underprivileged teenage girls in rural villages in South Africa. In these communities, hundreds of thousands of girls face a significant challenge – the inability to attend school during their period due to the unaffordability of sanitary pads, a basic need that many cannot meet. Recognizing the gravity of this situation, at Dalani, we have taken action.
Our mission is clear: to empower underprivileged young girls in South Africa to unlock their fullest potential, achieve their academic goals and dreams, and secure a brighter future in society.
