Overview

Join us for an unforgettable multi-country trip where we will explore two of Europe’s best countries: Italy and France. Over 9 days, we will visit Rome, Naples, the Amalfi Coast, and Paris.

Rome is a city brimming with rich history, culture, art, and world-class cuisine. We’ll enjoy a guided tour of the city, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Trevi Fountain, Vatican City museum, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Colosseum.

The Amalfi Coast is a mythical place, famous for its idyllic beauty, Italian luxury, and colorful houses. We’ll spend three days in this picturesque location and experience the renowned Mediterranean climate of the area. The atmosphere is something almost surreal- a dreamlike place that stays with you after you leave.

After our time in Italy, we’ll travel to Paris, the city of love, where we’ll spend four days exploring its romantic landmarks, architectural-rich streets, exceptional cuisine, and museums. We’ll visit beautiful gardens, wander through Parisian cafes and markets, and soak up the charming sights of the city.

Day 1 :

Departure

Our evening flight will depart from Johannesburg and land in Rome the next day.

Day 2 :

Rome

Ciao!! Welcome to Italy, our home for the next 6 days. After checking-in and taking some time to settle in and recover the jet leg we will be transferred to the Trevi Fontein square for some sighting. We will also have our first group dinner around the square.

Day 3 :

Rome city tour

After breakfast, will be set for a guided walking tour of Rome where we will sight some of the highlights of Rome. Prepare yourself for a long day of walking and exploring of the Vatican City Museum, St Peter’s Basilica and finally the Colosseum.

Day 4 :

Naples

After breakfast, we will take a morning train to Naples, Italy’s most authentic and busiest city. After lunch, we will get on a train to Sorrento, where upon arrival, we will be transferred to our hotel which is on the coast of the Sorrentine Peninsula in Vico Equense.

Day 5 :

Amalfi Coast

Glamour and picture-perfect sights are the order of the day. Today we will go on a Guided tour of Amalfi, Postiano and Ravello led by an expert. We will drive along the Amalfi Coast taking in spectacular views, rolling hills, and quaint town of Postiano and we will be introduced to the beauty spots of Ravello.

Day 6 :

To Paris

Our time in Italy has come to an end however, our time in Paris, France begins now. After an early breakfast, we will travel to Naples, after which we will fly to Paris. Upon arrival, we will check-in to our hotel in Paris, which is located on Paris’ left bank.

Day 7 :

Paris

Today we will take you on a guided tour in which you will discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of the city of Paris. We will stop at the Arc de Triomphe, and Eiffel Tower where will explore the remarkable Iron Lady. We will stop for lunch at a Parisian cafe. The tour will end with a boat ride along the Seine river.

Day 8 :

Paris

We have set aside some time at leisure. However, we will start the day by going to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum (admission ticket included. It is the home of some of the best-known works of art, including the Mona Lisa. After the museum visit, vou will have the afternoon off to explore beautiful Paris the way you see fit.

Back home

Our moment of glitters with glamour has come to an end and it is time to journey back to South Africa.

What is per person sharing?

All prices listed for our group trips are per person sharing, which means you will be paired with another solo traveller of your choice or with a friend. Single occupancy means that you have your own room and there is an additional cost for a private room.

Do I need travel insurance?

We require all our travellers to purchase travel insurance before the departure date of their booked trip. Travel insurance is necessary to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellation due to illness, trip interruptions, flight delayed, injuries or sickness while on holiday and stolen or lost luggage.

Travellers can choose a travel insurer of their choice, however we can also assist to facilitate it at a cost. Our fees are as below:

R650 for short trips in Africa(6 days or less)
R950 for international trips outside of the continent ( 6 days up to 12 days)

Please add this as a travel extra when you make your booking if you want us to facilitate it for you with our suppliers.

If you book it yourself, you will be required to email us your proof of travel insurance, one week before the trip.

What about internet access while I am on the trip?

You have two options for internet access, you can enable roaming on your South African number, or buy a Simcard abroad if you need to stay connected to the internet. The hotels we choose do come with free Wi-Fi connection, however this will not be available while you are out on tours.

Do I require a visa to travel to Europe?

Yes, South African passport holders need a visa to travel Europe. A schengen visa allows you entry to around 27 European countries. You do however have to apply at the country of your entry and or the country where you will be staying the longest. Though we assist you with the process, travellers are required to complete the application independetly and submit their biometrics in person. A Schengen visa costs around R2400 and takes up to 15 working days to be issued.

How much spending money should I budget?

Europe is pricey, we would recommend R15k and above for meals, drinks and extra excursions.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes, for our group trips we allow payments in installments. The final payment deadline is 60 days before departure.

Is the deposit refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable but may be non-transferable.

Can I upgrade my room or flight?

Yes, upgrades are possible at an extra cost.

How do I confirm my booking?

Your booking is confirmed once your deposit is paid and all required documents are submitted.

Are dietary requirements accommodated?

Yes, inform us in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
