Departure

Join us on an exciting journey from the beautiful landscapes of South Africa to the magical land of Egypt. We’re filled with excitement and curiosity as we fly directly to Egypt

Day 2 :

Arrival in Cairo

Arriving early for the adventure that awaits, we will wait for hotel check-in and after settling into our accommodations, anticipation builds as we explore the enchanting El Khalili Bazaar, immersing ourselves in the vibrant tapestry of Egyptian culture. The day ends with our first group dinner, setting the tone for the memorable days ahead

Day 3 :

Pyramids & Sphinx Tour

Get ready for a day filled with incredible wonders! We’ll spend the whole day exploring the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx – these ancient marvels are absolutely mind-blowing. As the sun goes down, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner with a view, seeing the pyramids all lit up against the night sky.

Egyptian Museum

Take it easy in the morning, and then get ready for a cool adventure in the afternoon. We’ll visit the Egyptian Museum, where we’ll see tons of interesting stuff from Egypt’s past. It’s like going on a treasure hunt through history!

Day 5 :

Luxor

Say goodbye to Cairo as we hop on a direct flight to Luxor. There, we’ll stay in a super fancy hotel by the Nile. In the evening, we’ll go on a boat ride in a traditional felucca, cruising along the timeless Nile, listening to the soothing sounds of the river.

Luxor

Our guided adventure in Luxor takes us to some really grand places – the Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. These ancient buildings are like giant history books, and we’ll walk in the footsteps of pharaohs, feeling like time travelers.

Departure to home

You’ve got a choice in the morning – either float up in a hot air balloon for awesome views or just take it easy. As the day goes on, we’ll say our goodbyes to Luxor, check out of our cozy Nile-side spot, and get ready to head back to South Africa. The memories we made along the Nile will stay with us, making sure Egypt is forever in our hearts.

What is per person sharing?

All prices listed for our group trips are per person sharing, which means you will be paired with another solo traveller of your choice or with a friend. Single occupancy means that you have your own room and there is an additional cost for a private room.

What about internet access while I am on the trip?

You have two options for internet access, you can enable roaming on your South African number, or buy a Simcard abroad if you need to stay connected to the internet. The hotels we choose do come with free Wi-Fi connection, however this will not be available while you are out on tours.

Do I need travel insurance?

We require all our travellers to purchase travel insurance before the departure date of their booked trip. Travel insurance is necessary to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellation due to illness, trip interruptions, flight delayed, injuries or sickness while on holiday and stolen or lost luggage.

Travellers can choose a travel insurer of their choice, however we can also assist to facilitate it at a cost. Our fees are as below:

R650 for short trips in Africa(6 days or less)
R950 for international trips outside of the continent ( 6 days up to 12 days)

Please add this as a travel extra when you make your booking if you want us to facilitate it for you with our suppliers.

If you book it yourself, you will be required to email us your proof of travel insurance, one week before the trip.
