Day 1 :

Departure

Today is departure day and we are headed to our holiday destination Indonesia, Bali.

Day 2 :

Ubud

After our arrival at the airport, we will be transferred to our first stop, Ubud. Upon arrival we settle into our resort for the next three nights, refresh and get ready for the festivities to follow in the days to come.

Guided Tour

After a hearty Indonesian breakfast, we will begin our guided tour of Ubud; visiting Tegenguan waterfalls, Tegalalang rice fields, the Bali swing paired with a visit at a local coffee plantation.

Guided Tour

It would not be right to come to Bali and not enjoy a floating breakfast right? that’s exactly what we have in store this morning. Thereafter, we will be transported to a guided tour of Lempuyang Temple.

Free Day

After breakfast, we will be transferred to our resort for the next three nights in Seminyak. The day is all yours today and Kuta offers plenty beach clubs, cute cafes and Balinese spa’s to be explored.

Day 6 :

West Nusa Penida

Today we will embark on a guided excursion to West Nusa Penida and explore the picturesque Kelingking beach, Broken beach, Angel Billabong, Crystal Bay and Paluang Cliff.

Free Day

Today is our last day in Bali and it’s all yours, choose what you want to do today.

Singapore

We are flying to Singapore today. We will get to explore all the main tourist attractions of Singapore through a guided city tour. Making stops in China Town, Little India, Marina Bay and Gardens by the bay.

Back home

Today marks the last day of our vacation. We will get half the day to do some last minute sightseeing or shopping before we say goodbye. We will be transferred to the aiport where we will board our flight back to South Africa.

What is per person sharing?

All prices listed for our group trips are per person sharing, which means you will be paired with another solo traveller of your choice or with a friend. Single occupancy means that you have your own room and there is an additional cost for a private room.

Do I need travel insurance?

We require all our travellers to purchase travel insurance before the departure date of their booked trip. Travel insurance is necessary to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellation due to illness, trip interruptions, flight delayed, injuries or sickness while on holiday and stolen or lost luggage.

Travellers can choose a travel insurer of their choice, however we can also assist to facilitate it at a cost. Our fees are as below:

R650 for short trips in Africa(6 days or less)
R950 for international trips outside of the continent ( 6 days up to 12 days)

Please add this as a travel extra when you make your booking if you want us to facilitate it for you with our suppliers.

If you book it yourself, you will be required to email us your proof of travel insurance, one week before the trip.

What about internet access while I am on the trip?

You have two options for internet access, you can enable roaming on your South African number, or buy a Simcard abroad if you need to stay connected to the internet. The hotels we choose do come with free Wi-Fi connection, however this will not be available while you are out on tours.

Do I require a visa to travel to Bali & Singapore?

Yes, South African passport holders need a visa to travel Indonesia, Bali. The visa is applied for on arrival for a fee of 40 USD and is valid for 30 days. Yet, South African passport holders do not require a visa to travel Singapore.

Do I need to be vaccinated for COVID 19 to travel to Bali?

As of 9th of June 2023, travellers do not need to show proof of vaccination anymore. However the Indonesian government “suggests” to be fully vaccinated.

What kind of food should I expect?

Bali: Nasi goreng, satay, mie goreng, fresh seafood. Singapore: Laksa, Hainanese chicken rice, chili crab.

What currency is used?

Bali: Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Singapore: Singapore Dollar (SGD).

Can I use my South African credit/debit card?

Yes, but inform your bank before traveling.

Is there a dress code for temples in Bali?

Yes, cover shoulders and knees. Sarongs are provided at most temples.

What’s the best way to make the most of my trip?
