Our first four nights will be spent in the lap of luxury at a 5-star oceanfront hotel in Seminyak. Indulge in the perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. Enjoy a blissful beach day in Seminyak, unwind at Bali’s famous day beach clubs, and witness magical sunsets that will leave you breathless.

One of the highlights of our stay in Seminyak is a day trip to Nusa Penida, an untouched paradise just a boat ride away. Marvel at the crystal-clear waters, stunning cliffs, and the iconic Kelingking Beach.

Next, experience the cultural heart of Bali as we move to Ubud for three nights. Our luxurious Balinese villa awaits, nestled in the midst of nature. Dive into the rich tapestry of Ubud with a curated day tour, exploring the vibrant local markets, ancient temples, and lush rice fields. Lastly, embark on a day trip to the iconic Lempuyang Temple, known as the Gateway to Heaven, where you’ll be captivated by its serene beauty and panoramic views.

Day 1 :

Departure

Today is departure day and we are headed to our holiday destination Indonesia, Bali.

Day 2 :

Ubud

After our arrival at the airport, we will be transferred to our first stop, Ubud. Upon arrival we settle into our resort for the next three nights, refresh and get ready for the festivities to follow in the days to come.

Day 3 :

Guided Tour- Ubud

After a hearty Indonesian breakfast, we will begin our guided tour of Ubud; visiting Tegenguan waterfalls, Tegalalang rice fields, the Bali swing paired with a visit at a local coffee plantation.

Guided Tour- Lempuyang Temple

It would not be right to come to Bali and not enjoy a floating breakfast right? that’s exactly what we have in store this morning. Thereafter, we will be transported to a guided tour of Lempuyang Temple.

Free Day

After breakfast, we will be transferred to our resort for the next three nights in Seminyak. The day is all yours today and Kuta offers plenty beach clubs, cute cafes and Balinese spa’s to be explored.

West Nusa Penida

Today we will embark on a guided excursion to West Nusa Penida and explore the picturesque Kelingking beach, Broken beach, Angel Billabong, Crystal Bay and Paluang Cliff.

Enjoy the day at leisure or choose your adventure, we recommend checking out some beach clubs.

What is per person sharing?

All prices listed for our group trips are per person sharing, which means you will be paired with another solo traveller of your choice or with a friend. Single occupancy means that you have your own room and there is an additional cost for a private room.

Do I need travel insurance?

We require all our travellers to purchase travel insurance before the departure date of their booked trip. Travel insurance is necessary to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellation due to illness, trip interruptions, flight delayed, injuries or sickness while on holiday and stolen or lost luggage.

Travellers can choose a travel insurer of their choice, however we can also assist to facilitate it at a cost. Our fees are as below:

R650 for short trips in Africa(6 days or less)
R950 for international trips outside of the continent ( 6 days up to 12 days)

Please add this as a travel extra when you make your booking if you want us to facilitate it for you with our suppliers.

If you book it yourself, you will be required to email us your proof of travel insurance, one week before the trip.

What about internet access while I am on the trip?

You have two options for internet access, you can enable roaming on your South African number, or buy a Simcard abroad if you need to stay connected to the internet. The hotels we choose do come with free Wi-Fi connection, however this will not be available while you are out on tours.

Do I require a visa to travel to Bali?

Yes, South African passport holders need a visa to travel Indonesia, Bali. The visa is applied for on arrival for a fee of 40 USD and is valid for 30 days.

What is the local currency?

The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). R1 = approx. 850 IDR (rates fluctuate).

What is the main language spoken in Bali?

Indonesian and Balinese, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas.

What is the local time in Bali?

Bali is GMT+8, meaning it’s 6 hours ahead of South Africa.

What souvenirs can I buy in Bali?

Handcrafted jewelry, Balinese coffee, batik fabrics, wood carvings, and rattan bags are great souvenirs.

What are some must-try local foods?

Try Nasi Goreng (fried rice), Mie Goreng (fried noodles), Satay, Babi Guling (suckling pig), and fresh seafood from Jimbaran Bay.

Can I use my credit/debit card everywhere?

Cards are widely accepted at hotels, restaurants, and major stores, but cash is needed for markets, street vendors, and smaller businesses. ATMs are available for cash withdrawals.

Can I use my South African plug in Bali?

No, Bali uses type C and F plugs with 230V voltage. You’ll need a universal travel adapter to charge your devices.
